Residential Window Cleaning

Here's a complete description of how your windows are cleaned every time:

First and foremost….we respect your home.  Booties are worn and drop cloths are always used. Utmost care is always exercised throughout.  Always clean, uniformed, and no smoking ever.  We work quietly and discreetly.

• We start by removing and neatly marking all screens.
• Then the screens are hand washed on both sides with a soft bristle brush using biodegradable soap, wiped down, and then set aside to dry.
• We begin cleaning the outside of your windows first, using a soft brush washer and a bio-degradable window washing solution. The solution we use will make your windows shine! It is bio-degradable so it will not harm pets, plants or stain siding. 
• We then use a window cleaners razor scraper to remove paint overspray, bug marks, sap, etc.
• After thoroughly wetting the window again with our brush washer and solution, the window is squeegee’d to get the water off and then towel dried around all the edges for a final detailing.
• We then take one last look and touch up with a piece of bronze wool for a truly professional cleaning!
• After the outside windows are done, we then move the operation inside and repeat the process.
• Inside, booties are worn and we use drop towels to protect your carpet and hardwood floors. All ladders have padded bonnets should one be needed. We will always treat your home with utmost respect.
• When inside, we clean the window tracks and window sills. (Sills are wiped with a soapy rag and wiped dry. Some sills require a much more thorough scouring to get completely clean. We can arrange this to be done for additional cost.)
• It's now time to put all of the clean screens back in place.
• To finish up, we walk around your home to double check the windows and put any furniture back in place.
• Please Note** Erie Window Cleaning & Services also offers “Pure Water Technology” water fed pole window cleaning. This is where all outside windows can be cleaned using no ladders or soap. They are brushed and rinsed with 100% pure filtered water for a spot free shine. This can be done for less cost to you but we recommend a conventional cleaning if this is the first time we have cleaned your windows or if they haven’t been cleaned for some time. Water fed pole is perfect for customers who like to have their windows cleaned a few times per year. This is a real money saver for them.
